![]() ![]() Believe it or not, I changed a Japanese percussion sound into an octoban one! I then assigned it to all eight pads, varying the pitches from high to low, with a press of a button I can add some reverb to them. If you spend time tweaking around each sound's parameters (instrument sound, level, pitch, decay, pan, curve, effect send level) and effects (reverb, delay, chorus, flanger), you'll be quite surprised what you can produce. They have more sounds and options than the SPD 11 and better polyphony. ![]() SPD 8's & 11's are a bit limited, I own two SPD 20's, one that I got second hand fairly cheap. ![]()
